Pure Wafer produces prime grade wafers in all diameters that meet or exceed the standards of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI). Prime grade wafers are the highest possible grade of silicon wafer and can be used for device manufacturing, with properties usually including extremely smooth surface and low Total Thickness Variation (TTV). While Pure Wafer normally works with traditional wafers, custom diameters and sizes can also be processed upon request.
Pure Wafer works exclusively with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to maintain a high volume of diverse prime grade wafers on hand at all times.Â
Pure Wafer produces test grade wafers in all diameters supported by our wafer fabs in Arizona and California. Test grade wafers are high quality but have less stringent properties than prime grade wafers, usually failing for one or more of the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) standards. Test grade wafers are often used in applications that require a large quantity of wafers for equipment and fabrication testing.Â
